Brauner VM1 Pure Cardiod Microphone

The “pure cardioid” series was started in late 2008 when we released the Valvet X pure cardioid which also completed the charming sounding microphones with a counterpart to the natural sounding Valvet. Just in time for the Musikmesse fair 2009 we are now going to release “pure cardioid” models of VM1 and VMX microphones. 

Continuing the “pure cardioid” series we distill the essence of our successful tube microphones VM1 and VMX into two new models with a cardioid pattern only. Keeping the well-known high-class look & feel, these two new microphones show their exceptional qualities in solo recordings and achieve an even better self noise due to their fixed pattern. Theirattractive price appeals to home studio enthusiasts all the way to the most demanding audio purists who do not require the variable patterns offered in the classic VM1 or VMX, and simultaneously make no compromises in sound quality.

        

All “pure cardioid” microphones are shipped in the sturdy aluminium case with power supply, VOVOX TubeLink cable as well as an elastic suspension.
